Grand Egyptian Museum Park
2004 ongoing, Cairo, Egypt
The project, which is supported by UNESCO, involves building a 600-metre-long museum in the flank of the plateau of Giza. Following the competition for this new Grand Egyptian Museum, West 8 joined the winning architectural team to refine the concept of the museum, to prepare a design for the garden and to develop a master plan for the museums environment in relation to the pyramids of Giza.
