Construction Milestone of Footbridge at Roosendaal Station

The new 188m long footbridge at Roosendaal Station will connect the nearby Herstaco Stadium area with several platforms and the station square of Roosendaal. The bridge has been pre-fabricated in three sections and was delivered to the site just before the Easter weekend. Each piece was hoisted up by a specially equipped 84 meter high crawler crane, one of the largest in Europe, all three parts were securely placed and connected to their section pillars. The assembly process was so successful that the operation was completed half a day earlier than expected.
