Houston Botanic Gardens finalist in two Houston Buisness Journal Awards!

We are delighted to announce that West 8’s Houston Botanic Garden has been listed as a finalist in two Houston Buisness Journal awards. The jury selected the project as a finalist in both the Special Project and the Community Impact category.

Opening in September of 2020, the Houston Botanic Garden provided much-needed access to green space in the middle of the Pandemic. The first phase of the 132-acre Master Plan has transformed an island in the Sims Bayou into an oasis of learning, discovery and horticultural beauty, and the most recently cpmpleted Culinary Garden is now open to the public.
