Visual Arts/Graphic Design Assistant
West 8 is looking for a Visual Arts/Graphic Design Assistant to join for an internship or part-time position either in Rotterdam or Philadelphia. Tasks include: assisting with visual materials, layout project pages, feed web content, curating photography, as well as assisting our graphic design & visual arts teams. You will work in a vibrant and international environment, closely collaborating with the Rotterdam and North American teams.
Our ideal candidate is:
- a current student or recent graduate, with a background in graphic design, visual arts or communications.
- sensitive to the field of Landscape Architecture and visual arts aesthetics.
- proficient in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite) – PS, AI, ID.
- able to work well within a dynamic team environment
- organized, self-directed and proactive
- knowledgeable in graphics design & visual arts
Responsibilities:
- Providing, preparing and uploading website content
- Graphic layouts and feed project pages
- Collate, archive and share media about our projects
- Assist with preparing applications and presentations.
- Report to Head of PR team & Project Leaders
