Longwood Wins ENR MidAtlantic Best Projects Award AND Trumbauer Award

West 8 team is pleasured to share that the Longwood Gardens Main Fountain Garden has been selected as a 2018 Trumbauer Award winner by the ICAA Philadelphia Chapter, in category HISTORIC PRESERVATION (project submitted by Dan Lepore & Sons).

Congratulations again to the design team of the Longwood Gardens Main Fountain Garden! Our excellence in contemporary classicism is recognized by the Philadelphia Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art. An overwhelming number of very high quality submissions were received this year. The awards jury, consisting of five members from the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the ICAA, was impressed by the scope and depth of the materials and in many cases. Winners were announced publicly at the award celebration event on Thursday, November 15, 2018, in the Lincoln Ballroom of the Union League of Philadelphia.  

Longwood Gardens Main Fountain Garden has recently also won a 2018 ENR MidAtlantic Best Projects Award in the category Best Landscape Hardscape Urban Development. Nearly 300 of the region’s top construction professionals attended the ENR MidAtlantic’s annual Best Regional Project Awards lunch on Nov. 7 at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor.
