Miami SoundScape Best Notable Developments in Landscape Architecture USA 2011

Chales A. Birnbaum, president of Cultural Landscape Foundation, has submitted a list of top 10 notable landscape architecture developments in 2011 to the Huffington Post including new designs, significant transformations and influential publications. West 8’s Miami SoundScape Lincoln Park is chosen as #1.

Birnbaum described West 8’s park plaza design as having “wowed critics (and everyone else) with its winning trapezoidal pergolas and lacey palms.”

Miami Beach Soundscape has received the prestigious Frederic B. Stresau Award for absolute innovation and design excellence of the profession in 2011 and the Award of Exellence from the Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA).
