Paving the road to change, Queens Quay Boulevard of Toronto Central Waterfront takes shape

The transformation of Queens Quay into Queens Quay Boulevard of Toronto Central Waterfront has begun, with the installation of the first granite curbs and red granite cobbles.

Although there are still a lot more km’s to go and over 2 tones of (Canadian red and grey) granite pavers to install, every little step counts.

Phase one of the boulevard construction stretches from Bay Street to Yo Ma Land (just west of Lower Spadina Avenue) and will feature beautiful maple leaf detailing along the promenade and street benches.
