The Transformation of Queens Quay

The new Queens Quay will connect waterfront destinations and help create a lively and active urban waterfront. But the makeover isn’t limited to above ground improvements. Much of the construction on Queens Quay is for new underground infrastructure – those essential municipal services out of sight and usually out of mind.

This video peels back the pavement to show what is being built underground and how that infrastructure work coordinates with the landscape improvements seen above ground. Waterfront construction is complex but despite the challenges the Revitalization of Queens Quay remains on schedule for June 2015.
