Donna Bridgeman-Rossi
Director
Donna Bridgeman-Rossi brings over 15 years of professional experience in design execution, articulation and management to bring transformative projects to reality. As Director of West 8 North America, Donna leads and interfaces with a wide range of client groups, from large institutional to non-profit, and oversees the entirety of the design process from concept, contract and construction.
A Licensed Landscape Architect, Donna’s business acumen enables her to deliver projects across international environments, climates, procedures and processes. These include the construction administration and design on the realization of West 8’s masterplan, revitalization, and redesign efforts of the Toronto Waterfront to managing the multidisciplinary consulting team for the construction of the Houston Botanical Garden, a woman-led, 132 acre multi-phase botanical garden in a Texas bayou ecosystem.
Donna undertakes project work using a comprehensive, technical, and collaborative approach and has developed a versatile skill set from her experience working extensively in multidisciplinary, international studios. A Canadian, UK National, and current resident of Philadelphia, holds two Masters degrees from the University of Toronto in both Landscape Architecture and Architecture. Sharing her experience with students, Donna lectures and serves as visiting critic at a variety of academic institutions around the world.
