The Garden of 10.000 Bridges shortlisted for Condé Nast Traveller Awards

West8 is delighted to have been informed that its project in Xi’an, The Garden of 10.000 Bridges, has been shortlisted in the category ‘Leisure’ for the Condé Naste Traveller Innovation and Design Awards 2012.

The project is featured in Marriot Innovation and Design Awards Supplement in the May issue of Condé Naste Traveller Magazine (on sale the 12th of April). The winners of the awards will be announced at the Marriott Grosvenor Square, London, on the 22nd May 2012.

This is the sixth time, Condé Naste Traveller magazine organises the prestigious annual competition for innovation and design. This year the awards are categorised in the following ten categories – Aviation, Communications Technology, Culture, Gourmet, Infrastructure, Leisure, Sustainability, Retail, Style on the Move, and Transport. The nominees are selected by experts from the arts, science, technology and media industries, and previous illustrious winners include Zaha Hadid and Sir Norman Foster amongst others.
