This week West 8 will take part in the 20th Annual Walk21 Conference—an International Conference on Walking and Liveable Communities.
Adriaan Geuze, West 8 Design Director, will be the closing keynote speaker on Thursday, October 10th—discussing the importance of shared public spaces in Rotterdam and beyond. Perry Maas, West 8 Senior Project Designer and Project Leader, will host a walking tour today, October 8th, on the history and future of public space of Coolsingel, an iconic city boulevard in the heart of Rotterdam.
Previously hosted in world-class cities such as London, Hong Kong, Vienna and Sydney, we are delighted that this year’s conference is being held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, the home of West 8 and so many of our projects including Rotterdam Centraal Station, Schouwburgplein and Nieuw-Crooswijk.
