Maximapark – With the drop in temperatures last weekend, visitors had the chance to see a unique view of Máximapark by skating on the frozen Viking Rhine. The park has truly become a loved spot for the surrounding communities to escape the busy life in the city, whatever the weather! You can see an extended video on our Instagram.

Vathorst – Photographer Jeroen Musch visited the ‘new canal city’ Vathorst in Amersfoort to capture the fun on the ice. Since 1997, West 8 has been working as the lead urban/public space/bridge designer on this project where water plays a dominant role.

8,000 homes have been built throughout Vathorst and another 2,700 are under development. We are proud to see the area continuing to grow and mature every year.
