West 8 to Present at BIA Urban Regeneration Forum 2014 in Bilbao

The week-long BIA Urban Regeneration Forum, will provide a platform for international debate cutting edge architecture and urban planning. With Bilbao as a backdrop for architecture and urban regeneration, the forum will focus on consolidated urban regeneration in the city and further afield.

Adriaan Geuze will speak at the congress session on Thursday 25th of September at 11.20am. His presentation will address the theme for the day, which is ‘The City: Second Nature.’ 

The sessions on the 25th will bring together the different experiences of urban planning and intervention.  A number of keynote speakers will share their distinctive points of view from a variety of locations over a wide geographical area. The intention is to establish a dialogue to reflect on the principal components that comprise regeneration (the specific role of public spaces, the essential elements that define regeneration, the influence of nature in the renovation of urban areas, etc.).  

The 2014 BIA Urban Regeneration Forum will gather 300 international experts in Bilbao between 24 and 26 September, with a México-Bilbao/Bizkaia Encounter also being held in parallel to the Urban Regeneration Forum Bilbao.
