
West 8’s Adriaan Geuze to speak in Gardner Museum Landscape Lectures series
For nearly 30 years Adriaan Geuze and West 8 have been at the forefront of international urban design and landscape architecture. Geuze, the cofounder and design director of West 8, is known for his visionary approach to planning and design of the built environment. On 9th of March, 2017, he will present his works in one of the Landscape Lectures at the Calderwood Hall of Gardner Museum in Boston.
He approaches his work with a combination of natural inclination and urban know-how, connecting contemporary culture, urban identity, architecture, public space, and engineering. Geuze has won many high-profile design competitions with West 8, such as Governors Island in New York, SoundScape Park in Miami Beach, Toronto’s New Central Waterfront in Canada, and Madrid RIO in Spain.
